redRobin, a PR agency founded in 2005 and specialising in business and finance, starts 2017 with a new marketing agency and 4 new colleagues. redRobin. Brand Marketing Communications, a team led by managing director Susanne Wiesemann (50) and creative director Ilja Emrich (48), now advises clients also on branding, marketing and design.

Three redRobin customers are already on board from the get-go. With Crifbürgel, the new agency supports one of the largest German business information services with strategic positioning and B2B communication. For climowool, a company of the Knauf Group, redRobin manages communications with specialist retailers and website support. The third customer is a non-profit association for victim protection, founded by the Institute for Forensic Medicine at the University Hospital Eppendorf in Hamburg. “Digitalisation has created numerous new channels and communications disciplines in recent years, which are becoming increasingly important for contact between customers and companies. This not only requires digital strategies for social media or online marketing, but also offers the opportunity to integrate new formats such as images, graphics and video into communication. By establishing our new marketing unit, we have not only strengthened the competences of our PR team in these fields. We are also expanding the agency group’s range of services to include marketing consulting with a focus on B2B communication and complex, difficult-to-explain topics,” says Wiesemann, managing partner of redRobin.

Ilja Emrich is redRobin's head of creative design. The trained photographer and marketing expert comes from a medium-sized marketing and design agency in Hamburg, where for ten years he was creative director advising clients from the areas of finance, industry and social affairs.
