Berlin / Hamburg / London, 22nd of May 2025. Hundreds of thousands of fans follow them on social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube and trust them when it comes to finance, investments and the economy: last Thursday, the best of them were honoured at Germany's first Finfluencer Awards in Berlin – and redRobin was live on site as the exclusive PR partner. Financial creators were honoured in ten categories for inspiring their fans with personal and credible formats on financial topics.

The winners in the ten categories are:

In the first step, a total of 49 financial creators were nominated. Between the 1st and the 21st of May, the community had the opportunity to vote for their favourite finfluencers in a public vote to decide who would take home the trophy on Thursday evening. A total of 25,371 votes were cast via the online voting system. The final decision was made by a jury of 38 experts from leading financial institutions such as Amundi, Scalable Capital, Laic and Invesco.

Diverse finfluencer scene promotes financial literacy
Our redRobin CEO Susanne Wiesemann had the opportunity to help select the final winners as a member of the jury: "Finfluencers have over ten million followers on Instagram alone and are therefore becoming increasingly influential when it comes to investment decisions. Financial creators make an important contribution to financial literacy. Those who explain finance in an understandable way create access, self-confidence – and real impact. I am delighted to have been part of the jury – I think the huge response triggered by the public vote alone, with 25,371 participants, speaks for itself."

Together with Finfluencer, redRobin offers integrated campaign consulting for financial service providers in the DACH region who want to communicate their content strategically and in compliance with regulations via social media.

Response from the industry underscores the importance of the finfluencer scene
The award ceremony was attended by 200 high-ranking guests from the financial industry. "The huge interest and support for the Finfluencer Awards shows that the financial industry has recognised the importance of financial creators," says Tom Slatter, Co-Founder of London-based agency Finfluencer, which launched the award. "They make financial knowledge easily accessible, and have established themselves as an important source for people in Germany on personal investment and economic issues. With this award, we want to recognise this achievement and help the best channels to become more visible."

Daniel Reitz, Chief Marketing Officer of main sponsor Amundi Germany, adds: "The Finfluencer Awards have shown how diverse and professional the German finfluencer scene is as well as its potential! As a sponsor, we are delighted with the positive response the initiative has received. Financial education is and remains the key to making it easier for people to get started with investing. Financial influencers do a great job every day to promote this."
