Our Frankfurt team continues to grow: Michael Sopp joined our colleagues in April as a PR trainee in our redRobin office in the financial metropolis. Welcome, dear Michael. We wish you a good start!

To get to know our new colleague, we asked him three questions ...

Michael, how did you come to join redRobin?
I always wanted to work in the field of communication. Originally, I studied social and political studies and English as a teacher and taught for half a year during my practical semester - teaching has a lot to do with communication after all. After my studies, I realized that I was more drawn towards PR and looked for a traineeship. That's when I came across redRobin. It was an immediate fit.

And what appeals to you most about financial PR?
In social studies as well as in political science and even sociology, there are always links to economics and finance – so this topic has already accompanied me during my studies. Even in public, topics such as inflation and poverty among the elderly are currently being discussed. In addition, there is of course personal interest – for example the question of where and how I can best invest my savings. How to explain complex financial products to the target group in a simple way is certainly a challenge. I'm definitely not an expert yet, but I'm looking forward to learning more every day at redRobin.

What do you do in your free time?
Privately, I'm honestly a bit of a nerd. I read a lot, mainly fantasy, I'm busy on the computer, and I also like to hang out with friends. And to stay healthy, I go to the gym on a regular basis.
